Me singing the ED/credits song of 劇場版天元突破グレンラガン螺巌篇, aka TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN the Movie: LAGANN-HEN, '涙の種、笑顔の花' (Namida no Tane, Egao no Hana), aka 'Seeds of Tears, Flowers of Smiles'. Recorded with my Mac's internal mic and mixed with GarageBand. Track ripped from the CD single, which I legally own.
Originally sung by the great Shoko Nakagawa. Image from the Gurren Lagann artbook, which I also own.
Lagann-hen was absolutely, utterly mindblowing and earth-shattering. I'm not sure Gainax could've done a better job if someone had paid them a million dollars. I've never laughed, sobbed, cheered, and punched the air so many times from a MOVIE. xD I've had this single from Japan since last April, when it was released to coincide with the theatrical premiere of the movie, and fell in love with the song a million times over during the year until I finally saw the film. Totally worth it.
